On April 8, Jeffrey and Susan Little filed suit against the city and Connors calling them negligible in their roles pertaining to the accident. The couple is seeking an undisclosed amount as compensation for injuries sustained by their son.
In February of last year, Charles Little, 14, was hit by the police commissioner's car while attempting to cross Boston Post Road. But the commissioner was believed to be traveling at a safe rate of speed and was cleared by accident investigators from the county who said he had the right-of-way. Several eyewitnesses were apparently interviewed at the scene as well.
Little, a student at nearby Resurrection School, sustained what was believed to be broken bones in his foot.
