Cox, Brickel announce BOE Candidacy

Robert Cox, Managing Editor of New Rochelle's most read blog Talk of the Sound will be running for a seat on the Board of Education (BOE). Cox, who has been the most vocal critic of the City School District since 2008, made the announcement Friday on his radio show on WVOX.

Naomi Brickel, who serves as the Chair of Educational Committee for the Westchester East Putnam Region of the New York State PTA, also announced her candidacy Friday. Brickel has previously served as Co-President of the New Rochelle Special Education PTA (SEPTA). Incumbents Sara Richmond and Quay Watkins will not be seeking reelection.
